*++* On Saturday, August 26th, 2017 from 10-3pm SEA is hosting a training session for anyone interested in learning how to use MailChimp and HTML5. This workshop is no longer in a computer lab so you will need to bring your own laptop, or let us know that you need one ahead of time and we should be able to provide one for you.
The session will be an introduction to MailChimp, a powerful online email campaign application, and HTML5: the backbone for editing and customizing textual content online.
Anyone seriously interested in attending this workshop should sign up for a MailChimp account which is free and take a look around prior to attending the session.
There will be one main presenter and two assistants to help throughout the day.
Please bring lunch as we will take an hour break and there are not many food facilities available.

- 10:00 to 10:15 am - Sign into computers
- 10:15 to 10:30 am - Sign into MailChimp
- 10:30 to 12:00 pm - Intro to MailChimp
- 12:00 to 12:30 pm - lunch break
- 12:30 to 1:00 pm - boosting Facebook impact
- 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Customizing MailChimp using HTML 5.
We have no required fee for attendance, however, we would greatly appreciate a donation which will help us offer more of these workshops in the future. A suggested donation of $5-$20 is greatly appreciated and should allow us to cover the costs of renting a fully equipped computer training lab. No one will be turned away who would like to attend but doesn't have the funds to donate.
