Please join us tomorrow in solidarity against the continued violent oppression of Indigenous women.


Hosted on traditional Lekwungen territory known today as the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations. 

A peaceful and prayerful gathering to honour the life and resilience of Barbara Kentner. This vigil will coincide with the date of her funeral, at the request of the family.

With the very exciting prospect of a progressive GreeNDP provincial government ending 26 years of abuse of First Nations lands, forests and forest economies, this year's Convergence theme is building necessary unity amongst First Nations, labour, small business, tourism, Greens/NDP and the environmental community for long-awaited indigenous control of lands, territories and resources; long-term sustainable employment for rural forestry workers and legislated protection for the heart of the Walbran valley! 

Tickets for:
1. Bus transportation on a sliding scale $20-$70 (from Victoria)  $10- $35 (from Port Renfrew). 
2. Saturday dinner feast prepared by Soule Creek Lodge owner/chef and FOCW organizer Jon Cash, by donation.
