No Kinder Morgan Bailout March!

Friends, you have probably heard the news that the federal government offered to purchase the Kinder Morgan TransMountain Pipeline for 4.5 Billion Dollars to ensure it gets built.

We say: not with our money! We will stop this pipeline no matter who owns it.

On Thursday May 31st we'll be gathering at 5:30pm at the Tourist Information Centre on the Inner Harbour (812 Wharf Street - the intersection of Wharf and Government Street) and marching to Centennial Square.

At the march there will be speakers, music, and art, and we will be organizing our next actions to keep fighting this project.

Please bring:

  • Pots, pans, musical instruments and noise-makers of any kind;

  • Signs and symbols of resistance;

  • Your friends, neighbours, coworkers, family, and children;

  • Your love of the coast and your willingness to defend it.

Please share this event widely!

We need as many people as possible to give the government a clear and united message!

With love and anger,
